SCARBOROUGH – Scarborough police had to shut down a section of Holmes Road for about two hours Sunday night while crews from several towns fought a house fire at 152 Holmes Road.
A fire dispatcher said the Fire Department was notified at 6:50 p.m. by a passer-by that a single-family home was on fire. The home was not destroyed, and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Buxton, Gorham and Saco also responded.
