SCARBOROUGH — Matt Hartl scored seven of his 16 points in overtime and Nate Wessel finished with 26 points as Scarborough edged Windham 84-82 in an SMAA boys’ basketball game Friday night.

Milani Hicks added 18 points for Scarborough (3-0), Sam Freeman chipped with 12 and Dan Leclair had 10.

Kevin Weisser led Windham (0-3) with 20 points, Spencer Hodge scored 18 and Kyle Kilfoil added 10.

CHEVERUS 63, THORNTON ACADEMY 44: Emmanuel Ismail scored 21 points to help Cheverus (2-1) down visiting Thornton Academy (0-2).

Noah Stebbbins was 4 for 4 in the fourth quarter with three 3-pointers as the Stags outscored Thornton 24-11 to pull away. Stebbins finished with 14 points and Brad Carney had 18.

Kevin Barrett paced the Trojans with 16 points.

BONNY EAGLE 67, SANFORD 46: Dustin Cole scored 27 points, collected eight rebounds and distributed seven assists to lead Bonny Eagle (3-0) over Sanford (1-2), at Standish.

Cole scored 15 of his points from the free-throw line.

Ben Malloy finished with 15 points for the Scots. John Morgan led the Spartans with 16.

HAMPDEN ACADEMY 65, BRUNSWICK 54: Isaiah Bess sank two 3-pointers and forced three turnovers in the second overtime as the Broncos (3-0) pulled away from the Dragons (2-1) at Hampden.

Bess finished with 18 points. Zach Gilpin had 22.

Blake Gordon paced Brunswick with 17 points.

GREELY 50, KENNEBUNK 45: Bailey Train scored 26 points and hauled in nine rebounds as the Rangers (3-0) downed the Rams (1-2) at Cumberland.

Conner Hanley added 10 points for Greely. Jack Lapham had 12 for Kennebunk.

FALMOUTH 80, WELLS 26: The Yachtsmen (3-0) scored 31 points in the first quarter on their way to a win over the Warriors (0-3), at Wells.

Nick Burton and Jack Simonds both scored nine points in the first quarter. Burton led Falmouth with 15 points and Simonds finished with 13.

Nate Booth was the only Warrior in double figures with 10.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 55, SACOPEE VALLEY 52: Joe Gildart finished with 21 points and Brian Roberts added 10 as the Seagulls (3-0) held off a late rally from the Hawks (0-2) at South Hiram.

Alex Fenderson led Sacopee Valley with 15 points. Kyle Day and Dominic Locke each scored 10.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 57, FREEPORT 39: Ryan Gullickson scored 15 points as the Raiders (3-0) used a 22-9 run in the third quarter to pull away from the Falcons (0-3) at Fryeburg.

Jaiquan Causer added eight points.

Jack Davenport paced Freeport with 16 points.

WAYNFLETE 66, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 42: Serge Nyirikamba scored 26 points as the Flyers (3-0) beat the Panthers (1-1) at Yarmouth.

Abel Alemayo had 16 points, while Milo Belleau added 11.

Chase Gendron led NYA with 12 points.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 58, ST. DOMINIC 44: Spruce Mountain (4-0) outscored St. Dominic 32-13 in the second half to rally for a win at Auburn.

Tyler Kachnovich led Spruce Mountain with 19 points, Deonte Ring added 18 and Scottie Hall scored 15.

Matt Dyer had 13 for St. Dom’s (0-4).

MESSALONSKEE 66, MT. BLUE 28: Jordan Holmes scored 18 points and Nick Mayo added 15 as the Eagles (2-1) cruised to a victory in Oakland.

WINTHROP 71, MT. ABRAM 55: Dakota Carter had 16, points, nine rebounds, five steals and four assists to lead the Ramblers (2-1) to a victory over the Roadrunners (1-3) in Winthrop.
