SCARBOROUGH — Sean Jackson and Brady Dodge each hit a 3-pointer in overtime to lift Noble to a 74-72 win over Scarborough in an SMAA boys’ basketball game Wednesday night.

Grayson Waterman paced Noble (2-2) with 19 points and Nolan Smeeton scored 16 for the Knights.

The Red Storm (3-1) were led by Matt Hartle and Nate Wessel, who finished with 27 and 23 points, respectively. 

WINDHAM 63, SANFORD 59: Spencer Hodge scored 21 points to lift the Eagles (1-3) over the Spartans (1-3) at Sanford.

Sanford was led by Evyn Nolette and John Morgan with 22 and 21 points, respectively. 

THORNTON ACADEMY 65, SOUTH PORTLAND 49: Quinn Richardson-Newton’s 15 second-quarter points helped the Trojans (1-2) turn a 10-5 lead into a 37-19 halftime advantage over South Portland (1-3) in Saco.

Richardson-Newton finished with 22 points. Kevin Barrett added 17 for Thornton.

Jordin Jackson had 14 points for the Red Riots. 

WESTBROOK 70, BIDDEFORD 53: Moses Abwoch’s nine points led Westbrook (1-3) to a 22-9 first-quarter lead as the Blue Blazes beat the Tigers (0-4) in Westbrook.

Abwoch and Aquai Alexander finished with 17 points each. Demetrious Hoskins added 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Corey Creeger and Terrence McCann netted 22 points apiece for Biddeford. 

CHEVERUS 71, MASSABESIC 44: Zordan Holman went 9 for 12 from the foul line and finished with 21 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Stags (3-1) past the Mustangs (1-2) at Waterboro.

Massabesic was led by Daniel Amabile with 10 points. 

GREELY 57, YARMOUTH 49: Michael McDevitt finished with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and five blocks to lead the Rangers (4-0) past the Clippers (2-2) at Cumberland.

Yarmouth was paced by Adam LaBrie with 19 points. 

WELLS 57, LAKE REGION 51: Jake Moody scored 23 of his 32 points in the first half as the Warriors (1-3) beat the Lakers (1-3) at Naples.

Mark Williams scored 14 for Lake Region. 

YORK 63, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 59: Nicholas Darby scored 20 points to pace the Wildcats (2-2) in an overtime win over the Patriots (0-4) at Gray.

Ross Hogan added 15 points, including three in overtime.

Andreas Kariotis paced Gray-NG with 23 points. 

FALMOUTH 90, POLAND 52: Jack Simonds scored 12 of his 23 points during the first quarter as the Yachtsmen (4-0) opened a 32-13 lead against Poland (1-3) in Falmouth.

Derek Michaud led Poland with 14 points. 

MORSE 44, GARDINER 43: Jacob Freeman, Ethan Winglass and Liam McDonough each scored 11 points to help the Shipbuilders (5-0) hold off the Tigers (2-2) in Bath. 

CAMDEN HILLS 74, MARANACOOK 52: Colin Morse scored 24 points to lead the Windjammers (4-1) to a win in Readfield.

Taylor Wilbur led Maranacook (3-2) with 27 points. 

RICHMOND 56, PINE TREE ACADEMY 27: Sean Bernier scored 15 points and Mike Stewart had 14 to lead the Bobcats (3-2) past the Breakers (2-2) in Freeport.

Jean-Pierre Tashamala netted 13 points for Pine Tree.


SCARBOROUGH 8, MARSHWOOD/TRAIP 0: Cam Loiselle scored a pair of goals and Jack Callahan added a goal and two assists to lead the Red Storm (4-1) over Marshwood/Traip (1-3) at Dover, N.H. 

GREELY 4, MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 2: Reid Howland scored the go-ahead goal with seven minutes left in the third period to lift the Rangers (1-1-1) over Maranacook/Winthrop (1-3) at Kents Hill. 

NOBLE/WELLS 10, MASSABESIC/OLD ORCHARD 0: Noah Pease and Dean Pratt scored three goals apiece as Noble/Wells (3-0) scored six times in the first period and cruised to a win over Massabesic/Old Orchard at Rochester, N.H.
