Amanda Arnold, Thornton Academy senior, jumps/hurdles: Took second in the long jump at the Class A state meet (16 feet, 6 inches), and was sixth in the triple jump (31-11.50) and the 55 hurdles (9.22 seconds).

 

Georgia Caso, Cheverus junior, distance: Finished sixth in the 800 at the Class A state meet (2:28.00).

 

Tori Daigle, Thornton Academy junior, sprints/hurdles: At the Class A state meet, finished third in the 55-meter hurdles (8.76), fifth in the 55 (7.55) and sixth in the 200 (27.49).

Kate Hall, Lake Region junior, jumps/sprints: Won the 55 at the New Englands in 7.07, clocking the fastest time ever in Maine. She also took second in the long jump at 18-5.75. And at the Class B state meet, Hall won the 55 (7.17); the 200 in a state-record time of 25.62 (erasing the 2004 mark by Logan Crane of Freeport of 25.94); and the long jump in a state-record 17-11.50 (erasing the 2011 record by Emily Mitchell of York of 17-6.50).

 

Kyaunna Libby, Bonny Eagle junior, distance: Took fifth at the state meet in the 800 meters (2:27.27).

 

Kialeigh Marston, Bonny Eagle sophomore, distance: As a freshman was ninth at New Englands in the mile, clocking 5:12.48. She also was fifth in the event at the Class A state meet (5:21.37).

Kiera Murray, Cheverus senior, distance: Won the 2-mile at the Class A state meet (11:35.01). And at the New Englands placed 15th in a fast field in the 2-mile (11:32.85).

 

Kirstin Sandreuter, Greely senior, distance: Has dominated the distance events for the past two years but chased two-time state champion Bethanie Brown most of that time. Now Sandreuter can own the track in Class B. Expect her to improve after turning a second-place state finish (11:22.43) last year into a third-place finish at the New Englands in a speedy 10:51.77.

 

Audrey Weyand, Bonny Eagle senior, sprints: Should be among the state’s best in the sprints after finishing second in the 200 and 400 at the Class A state meet last year, in 26.69 and 58.79, respectively. Weyand also placed 13th in the 600 at the New Englands, running 1:38.13.

Meredith Willard, Cheverus senior, sprints: Took fourth at the Class A meet in the 200 (27.22).
