Dear Portland Press Herald Toy Fund,
We moved to Maine four years ago; two years later my husband left me to raise three boys alone. I work 25 hours a week, but my expenses are greater than my income. I have been searching for full-time work with benefits, but have not been successful.
I would love to enjoy Christmas with my boys without the anxiety and stress of little to nothing under the tree. They are sweet, hardworking boys with great hearts. I would like to give them a present or two.
Thank you for your help.
Stressed mom
