BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School jayvee boys ice hockey team defeated Yarmouth 3-1 in recent action.

Eli Downs had two goals and Jacob Towle one with Deven Allard and CJ Connor splitting time in net.

Towle (assisted by Corey Laberge, Alex Labbe) scored at 10:24 of the first period, while Downs scored at 8:42 of the second period with Towle assisting. Towle scored again with 12 seconds left in the middle period with Towle picking up another assist.

Yarmouth scored at 4:11 of the second by Chris Romano.

Brunswick put 24 shots on Yarmouth goaltender Victor Wakelin, while Allard had eight saves and Conner seven stops.
