A Happy New Year to you and all of your readers. Speaking of New Year’s and the resolutions we make, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about one we should take into consideration.

How many of us have harbored a grudge and let it fester for ages? Well, I would hope not too many of us, but for those of us who do, some sage advice:

Holding resentment toward others doesn’t hurt them, it hurts you. And it will eat at your conscience as later on in years you realize that perhaps some, if not all, of the reason for said grudge was due to your misunderstanding what happened.

So if you want relief from that, better pick up that phone or write a letter to that someone and try to talk things over amicably. If you don’t and something bad happens to that person, you may regret it for the rest of your life.
