DENVER — Randy Foye scored a season-high 23 points, connecting on seven 3-pointers, and the Denver Nuggets routed the Boston Celtics 129-98 on Tuesday night for their third straight win after an eight-game losing streak.

Kenneth Faried had 21 points and 13 rebounds and Ty Lawson added 19 points and 13 assists for the Nuggets, who sent the Celtics to their fifth loss in a row.

Jerryd Bayless, acquired earlier in the day by Boston as part of a three-team trade that also involved Memphis and Oklahoma City, had 6 points in 25 minutes in his Celtics debut.

In the trade, Memphis acquired guard Courtney Lee and a second-round draft pick while sending Bayless to Boston, which also got forward Ryan Gomes from Oklahoma City for a conditional 2017 second-round draft pick from Memphis.

The 28-year-old Lee has averaged 7.4 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16.8 minutes per game this season. The 6-foot-5 guard is shooting 44.2 percent from 3-point range.

The 6-3 Bayless averages 8.0 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 21.0 minutes this season. The 25-year-old Bayless is shooting 37.7 percent.

In Tuesday’s loss, Jeff Green led Boston with 17 points.

BULLS 92, SUNS 87: Taj Gibson had 19 points and Chicago won at home in its first game after parting with Luol Deng in a trade.

Chicago dealt Deng to Cleveland Monday night after the two-time All-Star turned down a proposed contract extension, a move that hurts in the short term but gives the Bulls flexibility to add to their roster down the road. In return for Deng, the Bulls got disgruntled center Andrew Bynum, whom they waived.

PACERS 86, RAPTORS 79: Roy Hibbert scored 22 points to help Indiana win at home.

WIZARDS 97, BOBCATS 83: Bradley Beal scored 21 points to lead Washington to a win at Charlotte.

CAVALIERS 111, 76ERS 93: C.J. Miles set a team record with 10 3-pointers, leading host Cleveland over Philadelphia.

WARRIORS 101, BUCKS 80: David Lee scored 22 points, making his first 10 shots from the field, to lead Golden State to win at Milwaukee.

SPURS 110, GRIZZLIES 108: Tim Duncan scored 24 points to carry San Antonio to an OT win at Memphis.
