BRUNSWICK — The Mid Coast Senior Health Center is hosting a seminar on Jan. 16 at 4:30 p.m. on how people with dementia can qualify for residential assistance.

The event is part of a free monthly support group that meets at the center at 58 Baribeau Drive.

A representative from Goold Health Systems, a health-care management company that provides Medicaid data services, will explain the process of qualifying for residential assistance.

In addition, the Goold representative will discuss ongoing concerns for people with dementia who require long-term care. A group discussion co-facilitated by a Mid Coast representative will follow.
