The two people killed in a two-car crash in Hollis Saturday afternoon were Peter Reynolds, 49, and Sherri Demelle, 43, both of Cape Road, Limington.
The two were passengers in a van operated by Reynolds’ son, Zach Reynolds, 17, who was injured in the crash.
Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Department of Public Safety, said no charges are expected to be filed.
Police said weather was a factor in the crash on the slush-covered Cape Road, also known as Route 117.
The younger Reynolds crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pickup truck. Two people in the pickup truck, David Devore, 29, and Brittany Stacey, 24, both of Limington, were injured in the crash.
McCausland said the three injured were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive.
The crash was the most serious of a rash of traffic accidents caused by icy weather Saturday.
