NORTH BERWICK — Brady Dodge scored 18 points and Grayson Waterman added 17 as Noble earned a 56-50 win over Cheverus in an SMAA boys’ basketball game Monday night.

Dodge also grabbed 10 rebounds for Noble (5-5), which outscored Cheverus 22-14 in the fourth quarter.

Zordan Holman led Cheverus (4-6) with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Austin Boudreau scored 11 points.

 

SANFORD 71, MASSABESIC 47: Evyn Nolette scored 27 points to lead the visiting Spartans (7-4) to their sixth straight victory.

Jordan Tranchemontagne added 14 points and John Morgan chipped in with 12.

Daniel Amabile paced the Mustangs (2-7) with 20 points.

 

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 60, POLAND 52: Ryan Gullickson scored 20 points and Jaiquan Causer added 16 as the Raiders (5-4) beat the Knights (4-6) at Poland.

Fryeburg also got 10 points from Alex Blake.

Caleb Martin led Poland with 16 points.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 53, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 40: Jean-Pierre Tashamala finished with 23 points and Chris Wilday added 15 to lead the Breakers (4-6) past the Lions (0-9) at Saco.

Freshman Jeremiah Hammond paced GPCS with 17 points. David Davol finished with 10.

 

BOOTHBAY 79, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 36: Evan Hepburn scored 20 points and John Hepburn added 18 as the Seahawks (9-1) cruised past the Falcons (1-9) at Boothbay Harbor.

Julian Aponte and Nick Gorey each chipped in with 10 points for Boothbay.

POLAND 61, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 54: Emily Bolduc and Michaella Arsenault combined to make 9 of 10 free throws in overtime as the Knights (6-4) beat the Raiders (3-6) at Poland.

Bolduc finished with 26 points, including a 3-pointer late in regulation that forced overtime. Sarah Bolduc added 13 points and Arsenault had 12.

Fryeburg was paced by Skye Dole with 15 points and Alexis L’Heureux-Carland with 10.

 

SANFORD 52, MASSABESIC 26: Morgan Fogg finished with 11 points to lead the Spartans (4-7) past the Mustangs (1-11) at Sanford.

Jolena Lampron paced Massabesic with 12 points.

WISCASSET 44, MT. ABRAM 33: Kayla Gordon scored 17 points as the Wolverines (2-9) rallied past the Roadrunners (1-10) at Salem.

Alex Harnden had 10 points for Mt. Abram, which led 16-13 at halftime.

 

MADISON 46, BOOTHBAY 35: Alex Jarvais scored 11 points, and Madeline Wood had seven points, 12 rebounds and four assists for the Bulldogs (7-3) in a win over the Seahawks (4-6) at Madison.

Boothbay was paced by Morgan Crocker with 13 points and Sara Durgan with 11.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 58, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 18: Allison Verrill finished with 17 points, Alex Goodman added 13 and Rebecca Myshrall and Kim Emerson each scored 10 to lead the Breakers (7-2) past the Lions (3-6) at Saco.

BOYS’ HOCKEY

BONNY EAGLE 3, WINDHAM 3: Tyler Johnson scored the tying goal with 4:36 left in regulation as Windham (2-4-1) erased a 3-0 deficit against Bonny Eagle (1-6-1) at USM Arena.

Tanner McClure finished with a goal and two assists for Bonny Eagle, which built its lead on the strength of two power-play goals and a short-handed tally. Justin Miles and Kyle Whitman also scored for the Scots.

Johnson, Jack Gresh and Zack Callahan each had a goal and an assist for Windham. Gresh started Windham’s comeback with a power-play goal late in the second period, and Callahan scored on another power play 10 seconds into the third.

Matt Bridges finished with 38 saves for the Scots. Windham’s Clayton Owens had 27 saves.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

SCARBOROUGH 8, GORHAM 0: Sami Shoebottom recorded a hat trick and Lizzy Gross had two goals and three assists for the Red Storm in a win over the Rams at MHG Arena.

Kristen Murray added a goal and two assists, and Alyssa Hulst and Madison Rand also scored.
