The National Weather Service says temperatures of 30 to 35 degrees can make roads icy over short distances Wednesday morning and advises motorists to use caution.
Roads should begin to improve after about 8 a.m. as temperatures begin to warm above freezing in most spots, the weather service says.
A reduced speed limit in effect on the Maine Turnpike earlier Wednesday morning has been lifted.
