In his proposal that 12-year-olds be allowed to hold jobs, Gov. LePage stated that he had started work younger than that, and that it had not done him any harm (“LePage says children should have work option,” Jan. 8).
There are, I am sure, a lot of people in Maine who would disagree with the last part of that statement.
