STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Ahmad Walker scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to power Stony Brook to its sixth straight men’s basketball win Sunday, rolling past Maine 79-61 to remain undefeated in America East.

The Seawolves (15-6, 7-0 America East) have won 13 straight conference games and have beaten Maine six straight times.

Stony Brook trailed briefly in the first half but took the lead for good on McAlister’s dunk with 16:18 left and led by as many as 12 before taking a 27-20 lead into intermission.

Maine (3-16, 1-6) got a 19-point effort from Xavier Pollard. Till Gloger added 10 points.

(1) ARIZONA 65, UTAH 56: Nick Johnson scored 22 points and Aaron Gordon provided a huge boost despite a rough shooting night, helping host Arizona (20-0, 7-0 Pac-12) pull away from Utah (14-6, 3-5) for its school-record 20th straight win.

The Wildcats struggled early in both halves before Gordon made key plays with his hustle during a deciding second-half run. He finished with 10 points on 3-of-13 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds.

(13) MASSACHUSETTS 90, FORDHAM 52: Chaz Williams had 18 points and eight assists and the Minutemen (17-2, 4-1 Atlantic 10) rebounded from a loss on Wednesday, rolling past Fordham (8-11, 1-5) at home.

(15) CINCINNATI 80, TEMPLE 76: Sean Kilpatrick scored a season-high 29 points and Cincinnati (19-2, 8-0 AAC) overcame a late rally by Temple (5-13, 0-7) at Philadelphia.

After the Bearcats had blown a 19-point lead and were tied at 76, Kilpatrick hit the winning free throws with 7.2 seconds left.

(23) MEMPHIS 80, SOUTH FLORIDA 58: Chris Crawford scored 15 points, converting five of Memphis’ season-high 10 3-pointers as the Tigers (15-4, 5-2 ACC) beat the visiting Bulls (10-10, 1-6).

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

(1) CONNECTICUT 81, SOUTH FLORIDA 53: Breanna Stewart tied a career high with 29 points and Bria Hartley added 26 as host Connecticut (21-0, 8-0 AAC) beat South Florida (10-9, 5-3) for its 27th straight win.

(3) DUKE 111, PITTSBURGH 67: Tricia Liston scored 23 points and became Duke’s career leader for 3-pointers as the host Blue Devils (20-1, 7-0 ACC) beat the Panthers (9-11, 1-5).

(5) LOUISVILLE 88, MEMPHIS 61: Shoni Schimmel scored 29 points, hitting a school-record nine 3-pointers as Louisville (20-1, 8-0 AAC) beat visiting Memphis (10-10, 3-5).

(12) BAYLOR 69, (8) OKLAHOMA STATE 66: Odyssey Sims converted a three-point play with 3.8 seconds remaining in overtime to send the Bears (15-4, 6-1 Big 12) to a win at Oklahoma State (17-2, 6-2).

Sims scored a season-low 17 points, but had eight rebounds and eight assists.

(9) KENTUCKY 68, ARKANSAS 58: Jennifer O’Neill scored 21 points to lead the Wildcats (16-4, 4-3 SEC) at home against Arkansas (15-5, 2-5).

(10) SOUTH CAROLINA 61, (16) VANDERBILT 57: Tiffany Mitchell scored on a driving layup with 50.9 seconds left to lift South Carolina (18-2, 6-1 SEC) to a win at Vanderbilt (16-4, 5-2) and its best conference start ever.

Mitchell sealed it with another layup with 34.3 seconds to play.
