Jake Drinan scored three goals in less than 41/2 minutes Saturday to lead Cape Elizabeth to a 5-4 victory against Yarmouth in a schoolboy hockey game at the Portland Ice Arena.

After a scoreless first period, the Capers (6-9-1) took a 2-1 lead in the second. Patrick Grant tied the game for the Clippers (9-5), scoring 12 seconds into the third. Drinan when to work at 1:30 in scoring on a power play. He added an unassisted goal at 5:39 and scored again 20 seconds later.

Tyler Hall and Robert Murray scored late goals for the Clippers, who outshot the Capers, 44-20.

PORTLAND/DEERING 3, NOBLE/WELLS 1: Curran Clere, battling the defense in front of the net, poked back the rebound of Luigi Grimaldi’s shot to give the Bulldogs (5-9-1) a 2-0 lead over Noble/Wells (11-3) 10:49 into the game at Portland.

Ryan Marsh scored from Chullainin Kelly to pull the Knights within one with 1:26 left in the first. Peter Barry reinstated the two-goal lead midway through the third.

GORHAM 3, CAMDEN HILLS 2: Tucker Buteau’s shot from the red line slipped between the goalie’s pads and found a slot under the stick, giving the Rams (10-3) a 3-2 lead against Camden Hills (10-3-1) in the closing minute of the second period at Gorham.

Jordan Ward’s goal two minutes into the game gave Gorham the lead. Simon Lydon converted a feed from Grayson Szumilas to tie it 5:36 into the second period, only to have Jake Bear put the Rams back into the lead two minutes later. Szumilas tied it again at 9:45 of the second.

WINDHAM 7, MASSABESIC/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Clayton Ownes recorded his third shutout of the season with nine saves as Windham (4-8) beat Massabesic/Old Orchard Beach (5-9), at Gorham.

Jack Gresh, Tyler Johnson and Gage Chenard all finished with a goal and two assists.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, LEAVITT 2: Dylan Farrell-Reny scored the winning goal on a power play with 1:35 left in the second period as South Portland (8-5) edged Leavitt (5-10) at Auburn.

Kyle Halverson and Chris Mitchell scored in the first period to give the Red Riots a two-goal edge. Leavitt tied it with a pair of scores in the second.

GREELY 5, YORK 3: Brian Storey and Nathan Gervais each had a goal and an assist as the Rangers (7-5-3) beat York (5-9) at Falmouth.

Thomas Eriksen, Andrew Ray and Peter Hurley also scored for Greely. Derek Neal scored twice for the Wildcats; Jim Orso scored the other goal.
