I’ve always enjoyed M.D. Harmon’s column and miss reading it more often.

Recently I read The humble Farmer’s column and love it. The latest one was especially good (“ ‘Back when I was a boy,’ Mainers weren’t wimpy about winter,” Feb. 22).

Then I saw the Port City Post (“Left out of the right-handed world, and feeling just fine about it,” Feb. 22), and that really hit home. I’m a lefty and also have (had) red hair. Red-haired people are known for being high-strung, but I’ve mellowed with age.

These two columns are great.

Seems odd to my regular readers that I’m not complaining, doesn’t it? That comes next month!
