Olympic figure-skating stars Meryl Davis and Charlie White will skate in Portland on April 19.
The pair won the United States’ first ice dancing gold medal during the Olympic Games at Sochi, Russia. Stars on Ice, featuring Davis and White along with their bronze-medal winning teammates, will perform at the Cumberland County Civic Center. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
It’s the first time the U.S. Olympic figure skating team will headline the annual nationwide tour, according to a news release from U.S. Figure Skating. In addition to Davis and White, two-time U.S. champion Ashley Wagner, 2014 U.S. champion Gracie Gold, four-time and reigning U.S. champion Jeremy Abbott, 2014 U.S. silver medalist Jason Brown, and two-time reigning U.S. pair champions Marissa Castelli and Simon Shnapir comprise the bronze medal team that will join the Stars on Ice 2014 Tour.
Tickets are on sale now through the civic center box office and Ticketmaster.
