ROCKPORT — Fishermen are heading home following one of the biggest industry mixers in the country.

The Maine Fishermen’s Forum wrapped up Saturday at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, and fishermen began returning to their home communities on Sunday.

Seminars focused on research about Maine’s fisheries, as well as topics from survival training to enrolling in health care exchange under the Affordable Care Act. Annual meetings also were held for the Maine Lobstermen’s Association, Alewife Harvesters of Maine and Maine Lobster Boat Association.
