Who but M.D. Harmon (in his Feb. 28 column, “Obama cultivating a fourth branch of government”) would consider it good news that “up to 300,000” Connecticut owners of AR-15 semiautomatic rifles are refusing to register them, perhaps foreshadowing a general resistance like Ukraine’s and Egypt’s to “increasing encroachments on their freedom”?
(Mr. Harmon’s source is University of Tennessee law professor Glenn Harlan Reynolds in the Feb. 22 edition of USA Today.)
