More than 1,500 Emera Maine customers north of Bangor were without power early Saturday evening, but electric service was expected to be restored by 7 p.m.
Emera Maine said 1,520 customers, primarily in Milford, Old Town and Costigan, lost power. The utility, formerly know as Bangor Hydro Electric Co., said the cause is unknown and under investigation, but crews are working on the problem.
