Independent scholar and anthropologist Joanne Conman will talk about her book “Ancient Egyptian Sky Lore: Rethinking the Conventional Wisdom” that details her 20 years researching astrology, focusing on ancient Egypt and the stars. The book details her understanding of the ancient Egyptian decan zodiac and the links she has found between very ancient Egyptian religious beliefs and modern astrology.
