SANFORD — Mary L. Hill, 61, of Sanford, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.

Mary was born on March 4, 1953, to Peter and Mary (Corriea) Iacuzzi, in Attleboro, Mass., where she grew up and attended local schools.

In 1974, she married Terry Hill, and together they raised two daughters and shared 40 years of marriage. She was employed for several years as a truck driver and went on to own and operate her own trucking company with her husband.

Mary was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and always made it a point to live out her faith. She was an animal lover and was particularly fond of dogs and horses. She enjoyed cooking and horseback riding.

She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving are: her husband, Terry W. Hill of Sanford; two daughters, Teri Pradon and her husband Michael and their daughter Amiah of Waterboro, and Mary Chick and her husband Stephen Jr. and their children Nathaniel and Sarah of Newfield; and two nieces, Joanne O’Clair of Sanford and Gaius Gagne of Mullins, S.C.

A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, located at 32 Shaw’s Ridge Road in Sanford.
