I don’t always agree with Gov. LePage’s policies, but I do applaud him for his legislation on electronic
benefit transfer card fraud and abuses.

I don’t quite understand the Democrats’ refusal to accept this reform.

It’s been proven where these cards have been used and how they are being sold.

We need these restrictions, and the governor has come up with this great idea with the hotline for law enforcement to directly reach the Department of Health and Human Services concerning EBT cards found in possession of people they don’t belong to who are being arrested.

Shame on you, Democratic legislators for voting this down again.

I think we need to re-think our strategy at the next election.
