STANDISH — Nathan Huot pitched a one-hitter, allowing a single in the fifth inning, as Biddeford shut out Bonny Eagle 5-0 in an SMAA baseball game Tuesday.

Kerry Crepeau, Casey Twomey, Brady Crepeau and Dominick Day each had a pair of hits for Biddeford (2-0) against the Scots (0-2).

 

LINCOLN ACADEMY 12, MEDOMAK VALEY 0: A.J. Oliver hit a walk-off grand slam to cap a six-run sixth inning for the Eagles (2-1) against the Panthers (0-3) at Newcastle.

Lincoln starter David Scherer struck out seven and walked one in a one-hitter. The hit was a second-inning single by Tyler Emerson.

Travis Creamer and Spencer Alden hit two-run doubles for the Eagles, and Creamer, Alden and Brett Cowan finished with two hits apiece.

SOUTH PORTLAND 10, GORHAM 0: Brad Sowerby pitched a two-hit shutout with six strikeouts and also knocked in two runs on two hits to lead the Red Riots (2-0) past the Rams (0-2) at South Portland.

Sam Troiano and Jon Vickers added two RBI each for South Portland.

Michael Chapin had a double for Gorham.

 

CHEVERUS 13, NOBLE 0: Alex Jacobs took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and allowed just one single, striking out four and walking one as the Stags (2-0) downed the Knights (1-1) in five innings at Portland.

Chris Tinsman hit a two-run homer and scored three runs, and Felix Del Vecchio added a two-run triple and scored three runs.

Logan McCarthy of Cheverus hit a two-run single and a sacrifice fly.

 

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, WINDHAM 3: Evan Balzano’s RBI double in the fifth inning was the difference as the Golden Trojans (1-1) defeated the Eagles (1-1) at Windham.

Drew Gelinas, the winning pitcher, had a couple of hits. Alex Loftis and Ethan Perry had a pair of hits for Windham.

HALL-DALE 4, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Brian Allen allowed one hit and struck out five to lead the Bulldogs (2-1) over the Phoenix (0-2) at Farmingdale.

Bobby Cumler had a double and a single for Hall-Dale.

LACROSSE

WAYNFLETE 11, YORK 8: Henry Cleaves had four goals and three assists for the Flyers (1-1), who used a 6-0 run in the third quarter to defeat York (0-2) at Portland.

Will Nelligan added three goals and an assist, and Tim Bollinger had two goals and an assist for Waynflete.

Jack Rohrer and Mitchell Lee each scored twice for York.

 

FALMOUTH 15, KENNEBUNK 2: Brad Gilbert scored five goals to lead the Yachtsmen (1-0) over the Rams (1-1) at Falmouth.

IV Stucker added four goals and two assists.
