MONTCLAIR, N.J. — It’s not the house that Yogi Berra built. But it is the place in New Jersey that Berra, his wife and three sons called home for almost 40 years.
The six-bedroom, 3 1/2-bathroom colonial in Montclair is for sale for $888,000. The baseball Hall of Famer wore No. 8 on his jersey when he played for the New York Yankees.
The 88-year-old and his wife moved into the house in 1974. Carmen Berra died in March at 85.
The home was built in 1902 and offers views of the New York City skyline.
