Olivia Indorf hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning Friday to lift South Portland to a 9-7 victory against McAuley in an SMAA softball game.

Indorf also struck out nine for the Red Riots (6-1) and held McAuley (4-4) to two hits.

Kiley Kennedy and Paige Carter each hit a two-run single for South Portland.

BONNY EAGLE 5, MASSABESIC 4: Allison Pike had 10 strikeouts as Bonny Eagle (5-1) downed Massabesic (2-6) at Waterboro.

Pike and Rebecca Howell each had two hits for the Scots. Alyssa Wardwell had four hits for the Mustangs.

MARSHWOOD 5, PORTLAND 4: Joelle Casey had two triples and two RBI to pace the Hawks (3-4) over the Bulldogs (3-5) at Portland.

WINDHAM 14, WESTBROOK 1: Katelyn Tucker pitched a one-hitter, and was 3 for 4 with a triple and three runs as the Eagles (3-3) beat the Blue Blazes (1-6) in five innings at Westbrook.

Sadie Nelson was 3 for 3 with a triple, four runs and two RBI, and Miranda Richards hit a two-run homer for Windham.

Kerigan Demers had an RBI double for the Blue Blazes.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

FALMOUTH 8, THORNTON ACADEMY 6: Sabrina Smithwick and Sydney Bell combined to score seven goals and lead the Yachtsmen (3-1) past the Golden Trojans (2-2) at Saco.

Sarah Hutcheon made 12 saves for Falmouth. Carly McKenna had three goals and Katie McCrum added two for Thornton.

CAPE ELIZABETH 14, GORHAM 12: Liz Robinson scored seven goals to help the unbeaten Capers (5-0) get past the Rams (1-3) at Gorham.

Abby McInerney added three goals and two assists for Cape. Meghan Cushing had two goals and three assists for Gorham.

Maddy Hamblen of Gorham and Kate Bosworth of Cape had seven saves each.

BASEBALL

CAPE ELIZABETH 9, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Nick Moulton drove in two runs, including a triple in the sixth inning, as the Capers (3-3) shut out Fryeburg Academy (0-6) at Cape Elizabeth.

Tim Brigham and Aaron Dobieski provided two singles each for Cape.

The Capers used four pitchers in the two-hit shutout. Starter Nate Ingalls was credited with the win after Cape took a 6-0 lead in the first two innings.

THORNTON ACADEMY 4, SANFORD 1: Matt Rutherford pitched a two-hitter with eight strikeouts and no earned runs as Thornton Academy (4-3) defeated Sanford (3-3) at Saco.

Benjamin Lambert had a pair of singles for Thornton.

SACOPEE VALLEY 5, WAYNFLETE 0: Roderick Maynard pitched a five-hit shutout and the Hawks (6-0) beat Waynflete (3-3) at Portland.

C.J. Donnelly scored twice for Sacopee. Tom Silk had two hits for the Flyers, including a double.

WESTBROOK 16, GORHAM 5: Kaleb Kent and Kyle Heath each had three hits as the Blue Blazes (5-1) rolled past the Rams (1-6) at Gorham.

Blake Fillmore, Andrew St. Clair and Austin Blake each added a pair of hits for Westbrook.

Brendan Mercier had a single and double for Gorham.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

GREELY 7, THORNTON ACADEMY 6: Mitchell Mullin and Tim Adams combined for five goals as the Rangers (4-1) edged the Golden Trojans (4-2) at Cumberland.

Sam Doolittle and Owen Potenziano each added a goal and Griffin Doree made 12 saves for Greely.

Isaac Sinclair scored twice and Jack Grondin had 11 saves for Thornton.

GORHAM 14, YORK 4: Colin Harvey scored five goals for the Rams (4-1) against the Wildcats (1-4) at York.

Abraham Eaton added three goals and Alex York had two for Gorham.

MESSALONSKEE 17, DEERING 1: Albert Languet and Ben Weeks had three goals and two assists each to lead the Eagles (5-1) over the Rams (1-4) at Portland.

Dan Condon and Ryan Erskine each had two goals and two assists, and Jordon Holmes added two goals. Eric Van Der Karr and Dylan Jones each had a goal and an assist.

GARDINER 10, CAMDEN HILLS 9: Josh Caldwell had four goals and two assists to lead the Tigers (3-1) over Camden Hills (2-3) at Rockport.
