A mobile home in Sanford was heavily damaged in a fire early Sunday morning, but the fire department said late Sunday night it has been unable to reach the owner.
Capt. Brian Smith said the home at 12 Alice St. is owned by Donald Derry. Smith said Derry works for a Biddeford company but is unaware that his home was damaged.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Smith said. It was reported at 5:30 a.m.
