SOUTH BERWICK — Laurine German drove in four runs Monday to lead South Portland to a 9-6 victory against Marshwood in an SMAA softball game.

The Red Riots (7-1) broke a 3-3 tie with a three-run fifth inning. Abby Young hit an RBI single followed by a two-run single by German, who added a two-run homer in the seventh.

Olivia Indorf of South Portland struck out nine, walked one and gave up eight hits.

Hailey Gagne drove in two runs for Marshwood (3-5).

BONNY EAGLE 13, DEERING 1: Allison Pike struck out seven through three innings and Ashlyn Wintle added four strikeouts as the Scots (6-1) downed Deering (1-8) in five innings at Standish.

Pike and Brianna Lifland each had three RBI for the Scots.

CAPE ELIZABETH 11, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: The Capers (8-0) scored nine runs in the fifth inning to end the game and defeat the Patriots (2-5) at Cape Elizabeth.

Tess Haller had a pair of doubles and a triple for the Capers. Stephanie Greaton struck out 10 and Grace Kariotis had a pair of hits for Gray-New Gloucester.

BIDDEFORD 7, WINDHAM 3: Briana Collard hit a two-run double to spark a six-run fourth inning as the Tigers (5-2) defeated the Eagles (3-4) at Windham.

Erin Martin and Dalani Roy added doubles as six players had hits for Biddeford. Katelyn Tucker and Olivia Mora each had a pair of hits for Windham.

GREELY 8, YORK 1: Miranda Moore hit a two-run homer during a three-run third inning as the Rangers (7-1) downed the Wildcats (0-6) at York.

Kaylee Cimino had two hits and drove in two runs, and Moira Train added a pair of hits and one RBI for Greely.

Stephanie Rundlett had York’s two hits, a triple and a single.

Kat Melo scored for the Wildcats.

SCARBOROUGH 13, MASSABESIC 2: Freshman Abbie Murrell won her varsity debut with four strikeouts and four walks in five innings as the Red Storm (7-0) rolled past the Mustangs (2-7) at Scarborough.

Murrell also had a pair of doubles, a single and two RBI. Chloe Gorey and Ashley Gleason added three hits each, and Kyra-Mei Cartwright and Logan Provencher each had a pair of hits for Massabesic.

MCAULEY 4, GORHAM 2: Taylor Whaley struck out 10 as the Lions (5-4) defeated the Rams (2-5) at Gorham.

Whaley walked three and gave up 10 hits. Allison Tillotson had an RBI triple in the first inning, and the Lions added two runs in the sixth on a passed ball and an error.

Gorham scored twice in the seventh: Emily Deluca doubled in a run and Amber Cavaretta singled in another.

OAK HILL 16, BOOTHBAY REGION 2: Oak Hill (3-4) scored nine runs in the first two innings on its way to a five-inning victory against the Seahawks (1-6) at Boothbay Harbor.

LAKE REGION 6, YARMOUTH 4: Destinee Durant hit a two-run single in the seventh inning as Lake Region (4-4) downed the Clippers (4-4) at Yarmouth.

After Cat Thompson hit a bases-loaded triple in the first inning to help Yarmouth take a 4-0 lead, the Lakers tied it with a four-run sixth, including a two-run single by Nicole Marucci.

MADISON 10, MT. ABRAM 0: Emily McKenney threw a one-hitter and struck out 15 as the Bulldogs (7-0) rolled past the Roadrunners (2-5) at Strong.

Kristen Wood had a pair of hits, including a grand slam in the sixth inning. Kayla Bess, Emily McKenney, Aly Leblanc and Savana Kandiko each added a pair of hits.

WELLS 8, POLAND 1: Maddie Taylor singled and hit a two-run double to lead the Warriors (6-1) over Poland (4-5) at Wells.

Lauren Bame of Wells pitched a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk.

SACOPEE VALLEY 10, TRAIP ACADEMY 2: Freshman Jordan Miner went 4 for 4 with an RBI and two runs to lead Sacopee Valley (4-5) over Traip Academy (2-4) at South Hiram.

Miranda Schaubhut added a pair of doubles with three RBI for the Hawks.

McKenzie Cormier of Sacopee allowed one run on three hits through five innings with no walks and no strikeouts.

WINSLOW 12, OCEANSIDE 7: The Black Raiders (6-2) scored six runs in the sixth inning to defeat the Mariners (4-4) at Winslow.

Hillary Libby singled three times, scored three runs, drove in three and got the win in relief. Jenna Petrovic and Hayley Pottle each chipped in with two hits and two RBI for the Raiders.

Kalyn Grover homered and drove in three runs for Oceanside. Brooke Dugan added three singles and a double.

EDWARD LITTLE 17, MT. BLUE 3: Molly Murray pitched a four-hitter and doubled twice as the Red Eddies (4-3) defeated the Cougars (4-4) in six innings at Farmington.

Hannah Farrington added two hits and Kennedy Hubbard scored four runs for Edward Little.

Fiona Lefresne singled twice for Mt. Blue.

HALL-DALE 14, ST. DOMINIC 0: Becca Ackerson allowed one hit and struck out seven to lead the Bulldogs (6-2) over the Saints (1-6) at Farmingdale.

Ackerson added a triple, and Morgan Rush and Kayla Johnson doubled for Hall-Dale.
