You printed a photo caption on the front page April 26 that reads, “Turkeys like these are fair game for hunters through the end of May.”

With all due respect: There are two hens and one male turkey in the picture on the front page. The male turkey is located in the center of the picture, and a hen is located farthest away behind the male turkey, and there’s another hen in front of the male turkey.

Hens are illegal to shoot in the spring hunt. You can tell the difference by looking at the heads and necks of the turkeys in the picture.
