RAYMOND, N.H. — Police say driver fatigue may be a factor in a tractor-trailer crash in the New Hampshire town of Raymond.

Police said the truck rolled over on the south side of Route 101, just east of Exit 5, on Thursday morning.

The Peterbuilt tractor registered to Abenaki Carriers of North Hampton was hauling a box trailer on Route 101 eastbound. It was registered to Xpress Natural Gas of Baileyville, Maine. It was driven by 61-year-old Peter Smith of North Hampton.

The unit veered off the right side of the roadway, traveling down an embankment. It jack-knifed, rolled over and separated before coming to a stop. The tractor was facing westbound in the eastbound travel lane and the trailer was upside down over the embankment.

Smith suffered minor injuries.
