SACO — David Gerard Vachon, 49, of Ferry Road, passed away May 13, 2014 at his residence.

He was born in Biddeford on Oct. 9, 1964, the son of Raymond and Claudette Roy Vachon.

David attended and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1983.

He was a self-employed carpenter for many years, under the name D.G. Vachon.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include: his parents of Biddeford; a son, Nathan Vachon of Saco; two daughters, Chelcey Vachon of Saco and Ember Fogg of Gorham; two brothers, Marc Vachon and his wife Diane of Topsham and Guy Vachon and Mary of Biddeford; a sister, Kathy Beaudoin and her husband Steve of Amesbury, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and an uncle.

Friends and relatives may call Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Saco Valley Credit Union, P.O. Box 740, Saco, ME 04072 for the benefit of Nathan Vachon.
