OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Cam Guarino pitched a two-hitter in Game 1 and Addison Foltmer took a shutout into the seventh inning of the nightcap as Falmouth swept a Western Maine Conference doubleheader Saturday night against Greely, winning 4-0 and 5-3 at The Ballpark.

Falmouth’s Patrick Lydon was the only repeat hitter in the opener.

Connor Aube had a pair of singles and two RBI for the Yachtsmen (11-2) in Game 2, while Foltmer allowed just five hits.

Michael McDevitt of Greely (10-3) broke up Foltmer’s shutout bid with a two-run double in the seventh.

SCARBOROUGH 5, WESTBROOK 0: Ben Greenberg struck out eight and walked none while holding the Blue Blazes (7-5) to two hits as the Red Storm (7-5) won at Westbrook.

Scarborough broke a scoreless tie with a four-run fifth inning, keyed by Cam Brochu’s two-run single.

BIDDEFORD 6, THORNTON ACADEMY 3: Nate Huot had two of his three RBI during a three-run fifth inning that lifted the Tigers (10-2) over the Trojans (6-6) in Saco.

Huot finished with three hits, including his go-ahead two-run double in the fifth after Thornton broke a 2-2 tie on Evan Wright’s home run in the fourth inning.

WINDHAM 11, PORTLAND 2: Josh Dugas lined a two-run double, and the Bulldogs (7-5) committed four errors as Windham (6-6) scored six times in the third inning to open a 10-2 lead at Portland.

Zach Conley, Spencer Hodge, Ethan Petty and Dugas each had two of the Eagles’ 10 hits. Justin Zukowski had a pair of singles for Portland.

SOUTH PORTLAND 12, DEERING 1: Robert Graff struck out 10 over six innings, and added two hits and two RBI to lead the Red Riots (10-2) over the Rams (3-10) in Portland.

South Portland led 2-1 before widening the lead with three runs in the sixth. Austin Mills’ three-run pinch-hit double highlighted a seven-run seventh.

MASSABESIC 9, CHEVERUS 5: Remy Gaetjens hit a two-run single during a four-run first inning, and Matt Allen rapped an RBI single during a four-run fifth as the Mustangs (4-9) used a pair of big innings to defeat Cheverus (7-5) in Waterboro.

SANFORD 5, BONNY EAGLE 4: Edward Michetti and Xavier Chase hit RBI singles in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Spartans (5-7) rallied past the Scots (2-10) at Sanford.

Jed Scott and Chase Eldredge each had a pair of hits for Sanford.

Max Salevsky had two hits for Bonny Eagle.

MARSHWOOD 13, GORHAM 1: Christopher Davis had four hits to lead the Hawks (11-2) past the Rams (4-8) in five innings at Gorham.

Jacob Lebel, Zach Doyon and Zach Hodges added three hits each. Lebel pitched four innings, allowing one run on six hits.

CONY 5, EDWARD LITTLE 2: Conner Perry hit a go-ahead two-run single in the fifth inning as the Rams (7-6) beat the Red Eddies (6-7) in Augusta.

Tayler Carrier and Mitchell Caron each had a double. Reid Shostak contributed two singles.

MT. BLUE 4, MESSALONSKEE 3: Cam Abbott hit a single and a double, and scored the winning run as the Cougars (6-7) beat the Eagles (9-3) in 10 innings at Oakland.

SOFTBALL

MESSALONSKEE 10, MT. BLUE 4: Kristy Prelgovisk was a home run short of the cycle and drove in four runs to lead the Eagles (8-4) to a win in Oakland.

Kylee Knight hit three singles for Messalonskee. Mariah Martin had two hits for Mt. Blue (5-7).

BOYS’ LACROSSE

SOUTH PORTLAND 22, PORTLAND 6: Duncan Preston had five goals and an assist, and Thomas Leddy also scored five goals to lead the Red Riots (9-0) over the Bulldogs (4-5) in South Portland.

Jack Fiorini added four goals and three assists.

Mike Fuller scored three goals for Portland.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 9, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 6: Wes Bright finished with five goals and two assists as the Panthers (2-7) defeated the Raiders (3-6) at Fryeburg.

Colton Ackerman added a goal and a pair of assists. Jeremy Thelven made eight saves for the win.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

SOUTH PORTLAND 8, BRUNSWICK 7: Brianne Maloney drove toward goal and fired a hard shot high into the net for the only goal of overtime, giving the Red Riots (5-4) a victory over the Dragons (4-4) in Brunswick.

South Portland trailed 6-1 at halftime but held Brunswick to one goal the rest of the way, with Margaret Bushey, Ali Tolan, Ingrid Boyce and Maloney leading South Portland’s defense.

Maloney, who shifted back and forth between offense and defense in the second half, finished with three goals. Courtney Trufant also scored three goals.

Sydney Anderson tallied three times and Grace Rabinowitz finished with two goals for Brunswick.

FREEPORT 7, GREELY 6: Meredith Broderick had three goals and an assist to lead the Falcons (7-2) past the Rangers (3-5) in Freeport.

Greely, which trailed 2-0 at halftime, tied the game three times in the second half before the Falcons scored the winner with 18 seconds remaining.

Emily Johnson, Courtney Broderick, Lizzy Martin and Lily Johnson also scored for Freeport. Cameron Keefe scored three times for Greely, while Teal Otley, Katie Nicoleau and Maegan Dougherty added a goal apiece.

CHEVERUS 17, MESSALONSKEE 7: Elyse Caiazzo paced a balanced attack with three goals as the Stags (6-2) rolled past the Eagles (6-3) at Oakland.

Ally Fischang and Kristen Kern each scored two goals for Messalonskee.
