BATH — Wilson’s Drug Store split its two games with Sunnybrook in recent Cal Ripken Baseball action.
The first meeting had Sunnybrook winning, 13-12.
Boden Gould and Connor McNish combined for eight strikeouts for Sunnybrook. Gould and Michael Coleman were defensive standouts.
Pitching duties for Wilson’s was handled by Jansen Morrison and Chase Nicolino, who struck out nine players and did not allow any hits.
Wilson’s offense was led by Gabe Morrison with two singles and Nicolino with a double.
Wilson’s won the second meeting, 12-5.
Caleb Sommers and Nicolino struck out 10 and allowed one hit. Stephen Dowdy had two singles and Nicolino a single.
Sunnybrook’s pitching combined for eight strikeouts and allowed only three hits.
Zack Foreman singled for Sunnybrook. Trevor Hannah made some key defensive plays.
