Seven people were arrested in Biddeford on Friday following a four-month investigation into drug trafficking, police said.

Biddeford police and state and regional drug enforcement agents on Friday raided an apartment at 10 James St. and found several people injecting heroin, according to Biddeford police. There were several uncapped syringes as well as cook spoons on the table, police said.

Police, who had previously determined that a considerable amount of illicit narcotics was being sold at the apartment, on Friday found crack cocaine, heroin, and ecstasy, with a total street value of $10,500.

Lywon Sanders, 28, of New York City and Gerald Regis, 49, of Biddeford were charged with drug trafficking.

Steven Sayles, 25, of Everett, Massachusetts, who had been living in the apartment with Regis, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation revocation.

Laura Palkovic, 47, of Old Orchard Beach was charged with a probation violation.

Belinda Sutton, 38, of Lyman was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. She had a 2-year-old child with her in the apartment.

Megan Constable, 23, of Sanford was arrested on an outstanding warrant for probation revocation.

Salli Hansen, 23, a transient, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for burglary.

Police said the investigation is continuing and there will be additional charges and arrests.
