The Falmouth boys and Fryeburg Academy girls emerged as champions Sunday as a total of 29 teams gathered at the Cumberland Fairgrounds for the Maine Ultimate high school state tournament.

Falmouth capped an undefeated league season with a 13-3 win over defending state champion Cape Elizabeth in the boys’ final, and Fryeburg captured the inaugural girls’ championship with a 9-2 victory over Cape Elizabeth.
