Boston Red Sox pitcher Felix Doubront will make a start with the Portland Sea Dogs Thursday night at Hadlock Field, according to media reports.

The Sea Dogs play the Erie Seawolves Thursday at 7 p.m.

Doubront, 26, is currently on the disabled list with shoulder fatigue. According to media in Cleveland, where the Red Sox are playing the Indians, Doubront is scheduled to make at least two rehab starts before re-joining the major league team.

Doubront, in his third full season with the Red Sox, was 2-4 with a 5.12 ERA when he came out of a game early on May 20 with should problems.

Doubront is from Carabobo, Venezuela, and signed with the Red Sox when he was 16. He pitched for the Sea Dogs in 2009 and part of 2010.
