NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Buxton, Maine home cook Amy Jajliardo’s Apricot Barbecue Sauce For Grilling recipe has been awarded a blue ribbon at Just A Pinch Recipes.

Jajliardo’s sauce was named a blue ribbon winner by Just A Pinch Food Editor Janet Tharpe. To land the award, Jajliardo served up a full-flavored dish that was both tasty and easy to prepare, said Tharpe.

“It’s because of people like Amy Jajliardo, who is proud to share her family’s favorite recipes with other home cooks, that the club has become so popular and is growing so fast,” Tharpe said.

“My husband requested barbecued chicken on the grill for dinner. Since I didn’t have any store-bought barbecue sauce, we played around with some ingredients and came up with this delicious sauce that was perfect for the chicken. Served with a huge, fresh salad, this was a wonderful dinner,” Jajliardo said.
