SACO — Andrew D. Guy, 59, of Lewis Avenue, passed away June 5, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Portland, the son of Albert E. and Francille Nichols Guy.
Andrew graduated from Windham High School in 1973.
His places of employment included Unum Provident and Maine Medical Center, and he worked as a hospice nurse.
He enjoyed kayaking and the company of his two cats, Ajax and Apollo.
Andrew was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Saco, Ferry Beach Park Association and GAYLA.
He is survived by: his brother, Robert Guy of Otisfield; and two sisters, Debra Soucy of Lewiston and Carol Fota of Stafford, Va.
A memorial service will be July 12, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ferry Beach Park Association Conference Center, 5 Morris Ave. in Saco. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Ferry Beach Park Association, 5 Morris Ave., Saco, ME 04072. Arrangements are by Dennett, Craig & Pate, 365 Main St., Saco.
