Chamber event at Bickford museum

The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Night at the Museum, Tuesday, June 24, from 5-7 p.m., at The Bickford Collection Museum, 38 Yarmouth Junction Drive (behind Cuddledown).

Visit “Erv’s old trucks,” an antique truck collection, started by Erv Bickford, as well as many more vehicles and period memorabilia. There will be food, drinks and an opportunity for networking. For more information, call 846-3984.

The Summer Art Series, featuring free outdoor performances at the Royal River Park (unless noted otherwise), begins July 2. Recycling volunteers needed

The town’s Recycling Committee is seeking volunteers for the Recycling/Food Composting collection site at the Yarmouth Clam Festival. Two-hour shifts run Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19, from, from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; and Sunday, July 20, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, see http://www.yarmouth.me.us.
