Dock hand Mike Haith uses a torch to dry epoxy on the surface of a bar during renovation efforts at the Arundel Yacht Club in Kennebunkport on Tuesday. Haith, who performs a variety of odd jobs around the club ”“ such as troubleshooting boats and replacing boards on the dock ”“ took advantage of an afternoon lull to apply his handiwork to the clubhouse interior. Haith, a self-described water junkie with a taste for lobstering, has been working on boats since he was young, and plans to attend the Maine Maritime Academy in the fall.
