ROCKLAND — Fire officials say a Rockland plumbing and heating supply suffered heavy damage in a three-alarm weekend fire.
The flames broke out at Redlon & Johnson wholesale supply just after 8 a.m. Sunday. There were no reports of injuries.
Assistant Fire Chief Mikail Mazzeo says a member of the Coast Guard unit located across the street reported the fire. Crews from several other towns responded.
Investigators say they think it started in the basement and spread to the first floor of the building.
The cause remains under investigation. The state Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
