OLD ORCHARD BEACH — Mekae Hyde of the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide was named the Futures Collegiate Baseball League player of the night for Sunday, June 22, as awarded by the league.

Hyde, playing left field in the Raging Tide’s 16-9 victory over Wachusett, went 4-for-4, with two doubles, a single, a home run and a hit-by-pitch. Hyde scored four runs and drove in another.

Hyde’s is the first FCBL award given to a Raging Tide player this year.
