BIDDEFORD — Suger, a boutique located at 25 Alfred St. in Biddeford, has made a contribution of $1,250 to the Save the Lincoln Mill Clock Tower campaign.

The campaign is led by a group of Biddeford High School students in conjunction with a local historian and the Biddeford Mills Museum.

Each month, Suger sets aside a portion of its sales for local charities and for the community. The boutique is the flagship home of designer Roxi Suger’s brand, angelrox, a collection of women’s clothing and accessories.

“We love knowing that we are making a positive impact in the community. This is a great grassroots campaign that we hope will continue to gain a lot of attention and support,” Suger’s husband, Julian Schlaver, said. “We really hope that other business and individuals in Biddeford will make donations ”“ even small ones ”“ to help support these high school kids and save this part of the town’s history.”

Since Suger’s opening in November of last year, it has contributed to local food banks, the arts organization Engine, the after-school program the Acorn Club, Ever After Mustang Rescue and the Seashore Trolley Museum.
