A water main break on Bridge Street in Westbrook, near Lincoln Street, was causing traffic delays and detours Wednesday, police said.
Crews were working on repairs around 12:30 p.m. and expected to be working at the site into the evening.
Westbrook police ask that drivers who are traveling through the area allow extra time, drive carefully and follow the instructions of flaggers.
