Re: “Another View: Columnist’s claim of left-wing bias on climate unfounded” (June 9): I was glad to see Robert Libby’s response to M.D. Harmon’s May 23 column.
Ultimately, this relates to the assertion that “97% of scientific papers taking a stand on climate change say it is man-made.”
The following sums it all up and provides the source for readers to determine for themselves the validity of that claim.
I find it hard to believe anyone would agree with Harmon after seeing the data available at the link below.
That 97 percent consensus comes from a detailed analysis of 11,944 climate abstracts from 1991 to 2011 matching the topics “global climate change” or “global warming,” including invited input from the authors of the studies.
