A total of 3,295 runners crossed the finish line at races in Bridgton and Freeport on the Fourth of July.

In Bridgton, 1,966 runners finished the 38th annual 4 on the Fourth. Moninda Marube of Auburn won the men’s race in 20 minutes, 29 seconds. Annika Pfitzinger of Auckland, New Zealand, was seventh overall to win the women’s title, finishing in 22:32. For complete results, see C4.

In Freeport, 1,329 runners finished the L.L. Bean 10K. Chris Harmon of Portland won the men’s race in 33:09. Michelle Lilienthal of Portland finished seventh overall to win the women’s race in 35:15.
