Patrick Weimer struck out seven batters and walked two as Saco-Biddeford Savings beat Yankee Ford 6-1 in an American Legion game Monday.

Weimer allowed just five hits for Saco-Biddeford Savings.

SACO BAY PT 10, BIDDEFORD-SACO SAVINGS 0: Brayton Chayer hit a two-run single during a five-run second inning as Saco Bay PT (5-3) beat Biddeford-Saco Savings (3-7) in six innings at York.

Sam Johnson hit a solo homer and Cole Merritt had a two-run blast for Saco Bay PT.

ANDREWS 2, STANDISH POST 128 1: Owen Pence led off the top of the seventh inning with a walk and scored the winning run on an single by Evan Gallant as Andrews (4-2) rallied for a win over Standish Post 128 (3-8) at Standish.

Nick Dipalma pitched a one-hitter to earn the win for Andrews, which fell behind 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning when Brady Anderson doubled and later scored.

WELLS POST 143 9, CHASE CUSTOM HOMES 0: Shawn Ramsey had four hits, including three doubles, and drove in three runs as Wells (9-2) used a five-run fifth inning to pull away from Chase Custom Homes (4-6) at Gorham.

INNOVATIVE WORKPLACE 16, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER PATRIOTS POST 86 13: Dan Garrand and Mark Buzzell had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored apiece for Innovative Workplace (4-4) as they scored eight runs in the first and seven more in the third and held on for a win over Gray-New Gloucester (3-6) at Augusta.
