SCARBOROUGH — Dylan Farrell-Reny hit an RBI single during a four-run third inning and also scored Thursday, leading South Portland to a 6-3 victory against Libby-Mitchell in an American Legion baseball game.

Nick Suchecki hit a pair of doubles for Libby-Mitchell (5-8) against South Portland (9-1).

FAYETTE-STAPLES 3, SACO BAY PT 1: Ben Lambert struck out six in a two-hitter to lift Fayette-Staples (4-5) in its first game of the day at Saco.

Devon Ruel hit a two-run single in the sixth inning that gave Fayette-Staples a 3-0 lead.

FAYETTE-STAPLES 13, BONANZA 10: Ryder Kenney had three hits, scored three runs and drove in another to pace a 19-hit offense for Fayette-Staples (5-5) at Saco.

Kendall Patsack added two hits and three runs for Fayette-Staples.

OA YARMOUTH 9, CUMBERLAND 3: Cody Cook had two hits with two RBI and a run for visiting OA Yarmouth, which scored five runs in the third and fourth innings to pull away from Cumberland (4-5).

STAPLES CROSSING 14, BIDDEFORD-SACO SAVINGS 3: Jake Lebel had three hits, including two doubles, and drove in six runs as Staples Crossing won in six innings at Biddeford.

Zach Quintal, who scored three runs, Matt Brenner and Robert Jones each had three hits. Jones was the winning pitcher.

Casey Twomey had two hits with an RBI for Biddeford-Saco Savings.

SCHWARTZ & SCHWARTZ 3, STANDISH POST 1: Dominic Esposito struck out 10 in a four-hitter to lead Schwartz & Schwartz (2-9) over Standish Post (3-9) at Portland.

Esposito also had three hits and drove in a run.

SOUTH PORTLAND 4, LIBBY-MITCHELL 3: Ben Conti scored the winning run on a two-out single by Drew Abramson in the seventh inning to lift South Portland (8-3) to a walk-off win over visiting Libby- Mitchell (3-7).

OXFORD HILLS 9, BRUNO’S 4: Tyler Curtis had three hits and drove in four runs to lead Oxford Hills (8-5) past Bruno’s (8-4) at Portland.

Bobby Brittingham had two hits and two RBI for Bruno’s.

WELLS POST 143 5, A.T. HUTCHINS 4: Tim Barnard hit an RBI single that broke a 3-3 tie during a two-run fourth inning and Wells (10-2) held off visiting A.T. Hutchins (4-6). Orey Dutton had three hits, including two doubles, for A.T. Hutchins.

STANDISH 19, SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 8: Reid Wallingford was 4 for 5 with three RBI and three runs as Standish (9-4) handled visiting Saco-Biddeford Savings (2-9) in six innings.

Lane Poirier finished 3 for 4 with two RBI and two runs. Lukkas Pierce forced the mercy rule with a bases-loaded triple.

Curtis Petit was 3 for 4 with an RBI for Saco-Biddeford Savings.
