Maine author Kate Webber will read from her new book, “Swan’s Island Chronicles: Borrowed, Exaggerated and Half Forgotten Tales of Island Life.” The book details the small Down East community of Swan’s Island, its history and local legends as gleaned from Webber’s two years of research through the Swan’s Island Historical Society’s Island Institute fellow program.
