The following cases were handled in Cumberland County Court between May 1-31:
Barry Lee Cain, 63, of Pownal, a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer was dismissed, for an incident in Pownal on Jan. 14.
Adam W. Gowen, 39, of Bath, parole violation on an Aug. 1, 2011 charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, with priors, sentenced on May 2, 2014 to six months in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued, for an incident in Harpswell.
Derek Less, 26, of Waterville, guilty of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, sentenced to 30 days in jail, $250 restitution; a charge of violating condition of release was pled to another charge, for an incident in Harpswell on Oct. 30, 2012.
Adam C. Brooks, 34, of Freeport, charges of operating under the influence and attaching false plates were dismissed by the district attorney due to witnesses being unavailable, for an incident in Freeport on Jan. 13.
Jacob DJ Cavazos, 20, of Phippsburg, guilty of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, sentenced to 24 hours in jail, stayed until June 18, 2014, $500 restitution, for an incident in Freeport on Jan. 9.
Lucas G. Davis, 20, of Yarmouth, charges of possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 ounces, and the sale or use of drug paraphernalia were pled to other charges, for an incident in Yarmouth on Jan. 19.
Nathan Donovan, 32, of Brunswick, guilty of carrying a concealed weapon, sentenced to 81 days in jail; guilty of criminal mischief, sentenced to 81 days in jail; charges of burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer were pled to other charges, for an incident in Freeport on Feb. 10.
Tiffany M. Fitzpatrick, 28, of Lewiston, guilty by default of the sale or use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine, for an incident in Freeport on Mar. 6.
Kenneth Fowler, 51, of Hartford, Conn., guilty of two charges of the unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, $400 fine, sentenced to six months in jail; guilty of operating a vehicle without a license, sentenced to six months in jail; charges of attaching false plates and theft by receiving stolen property were pled to other charges, for an incident in Freeport on Apr. 12, 2013.
Tina J. Jones, 44, of Brunswick, guilty of operating under the influence, $500 fine, sentenced to 72 hours in jail, stayed until June 20, 2014, license suspended for 150 days, for an incident in Freeport on Jan. 1.
Gregory Lovejoy, 51, of Durham, guilty of operating a vehicle without a license – with conditions or restrictions, $1,000 fine, sentenced to jail for 48 hours, stayed until June 20, 2014, for an incident in Freeport on Jan. 14.
Michael Pajak, 19, of Woolwich, a charge of driving to endanger was dismissed by the district attorney, due to witnesses being unavailable for an incident in Freeport on Aug. 18, 2013.
Timothy Pulk, 27, of Lewiston, parole violation on a Nov. 12, 2013 charge of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, sentenced on Jan. 30, 2014; $400 fine, sentenced to the Department of Corrections for two years, all but 90 days suspended, two years probation, for an incident in Freeport.
Bohdan J. Taramina, 47, of Collierville, TN, guilty of operating under the influence, $1250 fine, license suspended for 90 days; an additional charge of operating under the influence was pled to another charge, for an inci dent in Freeport on Nov. 25, 2013.
Alicia Aube, 29, of Brunswick, guilty of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, sentenced to 48 hours in jail, for an incident in Brunswick on Nov. 15, 2010.
James Bandouveres, 19, of Brunswick, guilty of operating a vehicle without a license – with conditions or restrictions, $200 fine; guilty of driving to endanger, $600 fine, license suspended for 30 days; charges of failing to notify of a motor vehicle accident, operating under the influence and failing to make an oral or written accident report were pled to other charges, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 5.
Holly J. Bartlett, 56, of Shelbourne, Vt., guilty of operating under the influence, $750 fine, sentenced to 72 hours in jail, stayed until Oct. 24, 2014, license suspended for 150 days, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 18.
Jessica L. Bennett, 32, of Brunswick, guilty of disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, sentenced to 48 hours in jail, for an incident in Brunswick on May 10.
Danielle R. Bouchard, 29, of Brunswick, guilty of operating a vehicle without a license – with conditions or restrictions, $60 fine, sentenced to five days in jail, stayed until Aug. 14, 2014; guilty of operating under the influence, one prior, $700 fine, sentenced to 14 days in jail, stayed until Aug. 14, 2014, license suspended for three years, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 8.
Christopher Cheetam, 35, of Brunswick, guilty of domestic violence criminal threatening, sentenced to 364 days in jail, all but 30 days suspended, stayed until May 29, 2014, two years probation; charges of obstructing the reporting on a crime and domestic violence assault were pled to other charges,, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 1.
Shawn C. Crosson, 29, of Brunswick, guilty of operating a vehicle after habitual offender revocation, $500 fine, sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed until Sept. 5, 2014; an additional charge of operating a vehicle after habitual offender revocation, with priors, was pled to another charge, for an incident in Brunswick on Dec. 5, 2013.
Nathan D. Dalton, 35, of Woolwich, a charge of refusing to submit to arrest or detention, using physical force, was dismissed, for an incident in Brunswick on Mar. 31, 2013.
Jared Joseph Donathan, 31, of Brunswick, guilty of violating condition of release, sentenced to six months in jail; guilty of operating a vehicle after habitual offender revocation, with priors, $1000 fine, sentenced to six months in jail, for an incident in Brunswick on Nov. 13, 2013.
Nicholas Gallello, 32, of Westport, guilty of operating under the influence, $500 fine, license suspended for 90 days, for an incident in Brunswick on Sept. 25, 2013.
Kyra J. Graffam, 26, of Brunswick, a charge of domestic violence assault was dismissed, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 12, 2013.
Gary K. Hersom, 53, of Baton Rouge, La., and Topsham, guilty of operating under the influence, one prior, $1000 fine, sentenced to 65 days in jail, stayed until June 12, 2014, license suspended for three years; guilty of operating a vehicle without a license – with conditions or restrictions, sentenced to five days in jail; a charge of operating under the influence, two priors, was pled to anther charge, for an incident in Brunswick on Dec. 3, 2013; guilty of violating condition of release, sentenced to five days in jail, stayed until June 12, 2014, for an incident in Brunswick on Dec. 5, 2013.
Benjamin J. Kaye, 31, of Bowdoin, guilty of domestic violence assault, with DV priors, sentenced to the Department of Corrections for four years, all but one year suspended, three years probation; guilty of aggravated criminal trespass, sentenced to the Department of Corrections for four years, all but one year suspended, three years probation; a charge of possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 ounces, was dismissed, for an incident in Brunswick on Dec. 12, 2013.
Miranda Marie King, 30, of Bowdoin, guilty of theft of lost, mislaid, or misdelivered property, $100 fine, for an incident in Brunswick on Dec. 26, 2013.
Amie L. Kitchen, 32, of Brunswick, guilty of driving to endanger, $750 fine, license suspended for 30 days; two charges of operating under the influence were pled to other charges, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 1.
Philip H. Koch, 20, of Northeast Harbor, a charge of operating a vehicle while license suspended or revoked, was filed with cost, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 20.
Edward L. LaMarre, 47, of Brunswick, guilty of operating a vehicle without a license, sentenced to seven days in jail, stayed until June 6, 2014; guilty of operating under the influence, one prior, $700 fine, sentenced to 120 days in jail, all but seven days suspended, stayed until June 6, 2014, one year probation, license suspended for three years, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 1.
Raymond D. Leavitt, 51, of Portland, guilty of robbery, sentenced to ten years in jail, for an incident in Brunswick on Oct. 28, 2013.
Anthony Manganella, 31, of Brunswick, guilty of aggravated assault, sentenced to two years in jail, all but 90 days suspended, stayed until July 11, 2014, two years probation, $2300 restitution, for an incident in Brunswick on July 21, 2013.
Clarence James Manning, 60, of Rye, N.Y., guilty of motor vehicle speeding: 30-plus mph over the speed limit, $350 fine, for an incident in Brunswick on Nov. 13, 2013.
Megan McKenney, 30, of Bath, guilty of disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, sentenced to 24 hours in jail, for an incident in Brunswick on May 10.
Mathew M. Meservey, 28, of Portland, parole violation on two Dec. 28, 2010 charges of gross sexual assault, sentenced on May 9, 2014 to 60 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued, for an incident in Brunswick.
Scott O’Leary, 33, of Portland, operating under the influence, one prior, $700 fine, sentenced to 364 days in jail, all but 30 days suspended, one year probation, license suspended for one year, for an incident in Brunswick on Apr. 23, 2013.
Andrew Pinkham, 34, of Bath, guilty of operating under the influence, one prior, $700 fine, sentenced to 30 days in jail, license suspended for three years; a charge of the sale or use of drug paraphernalia, was pled to another charge, for an incident in Brunswick on Feb. 4.
Robert L. Scammon, 30, of Durham, a charge of violating condition of release was dismissed, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 18.
Dillon T. Smith, 22, of Brunswick, a charge of operating under the influence was pled to another charge, for an incident in Brunswick on Jan. 1.
Steven J. Theriault, 25, of Enfield, a charge of domestic violence assault was pled to another charge, for an incident in Brunswick on Mar. 15.
Gail A. Trafford, 63, of Brunswick, guilty of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, sentenced to three days in jail, stayed until May 12, 2014; an additional charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, with priors, was pled to another charge, for an incident in Brunswick on Mar. 29, 2013.
